Art Therapy
A Powerful and Effective Healing Approach!
Art helps express feelings that are hard to put into words.
Many people—of all ages—struggle to explain emotions like stress, grief, anxiety, or feeling stuck. Art therapy offers a gentle way to express those feelings through creating, without needing to know exactly what to say.Creating art can be calming and supportive.
The act of making art can help the body slow down and the mind feel more at ease. It provides a space to release tension, feel grounded, and take a break from daily pressures in a safe and supportive environment.Art therapy meets you where you are.
You don’t need any art experience or talent. The focus is not on how the art looks, but on how the process supports reflection, insight, and emotional well-being—making it accessible and welcoming for all ages.
“Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.”

Bethany Nehring ATR, LPC
As an art therapist, I support emotional healing and personal growth through creative self-expression. I believe that healing does not always begin with words—sometimes it begins with creating. Art therapy offers a meaningful and accessible way to explore emotions, process life experiences, and build resilience in a supportive and nonjudgmental space.
My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and grounded in meeting each person where they are. No prior art experience is needed. The focus is not on the final product, but on the process of reflection, expression, and healing through creative work. I work with children, teens, and adults, supporting a wide range of emotional needs including grief, stress, life transitions, and emotional regulation.
